Am i allowed to download Test Drive Unlimited 2 downloadable content

Hello friends, I have purchased Test Drive Unlimited 2 game from steam. I just came to know that this game is downloadable content (DLC) ready, But i have a doubt. Will I have to go to the atari store and buy atari points or my game will be allowed to use the steam provided product key to use the DLC? I want to have the casino pack. Well I do not have the retail version that is i have not brought this game from atari store. Can i add teh DLC on the the steam game? Will it get installed in the steam folders? Am i allowed to download the DLC first?

Yeah, thanks for making this question. I too have this question. I have this game on steam too. Can i download the DLC pack from atari store? I dont see DLC in steam store. So can anyone help? I would like many DLC. If its possible to have the non-steam DLC on steam game then it would be more fun to play. Also do i have to buy the DLC even if i have purchased the game? Or i get it for free? My friend has this game which he has purchased from atari store and not on steam so can he get the DLC for free? There is a lot confusion as this game is both steam and non-steam. So what are the chances of getting the DLC on either platform? I mean steam and non-steam?

Either of the platform you are on, you can install the DLC. Both steam and both non-steam. But DLCs these days aren't free and same is the problem with Test Drive Unlimited 2. I wanted the casino DLC, so i went ahead and inquired about it. I came to know that no matter on which platform you are, you need to buy the DLC. And as i needed it i had to buy. But i am in problem now. I have purchased it and how do i download and install it? I have created my account on atari store and it shows i have purchased it. How do i download it? I want to check it on my steam if it works or no. Atari says it does, but then too i want to make sure it does. Any help around here?

Ok, from what i know, you have to buy points from atari store, which will reflect in your account which will let you download the DLCs according the points you have. Have you used the points? I mean you need to redeem the points against the reward or DLC as you may say it. So have you done it? Then you may get a download link for your DLC. Try it and post back if that doesn't help. It will ask for your product key to verify that your game is genuine or not. But this isn't an issue unless you have purchased it from either atari or steam as both are genuine. Download the DLC and do post back if that works or not. Hope this is useful.

No! It is not supported and it will never work. I have already done this mistake. I purchased the DLC casino from atari store and the game i have is on Steam. Atari does not recognize my steam installation of Test Drive Unlimited 2. After i redeem the points and go to download, it always says that I have not bought the game and i should buy one. Everytime i do this, it tells me to buy the game again and again. Also, if you manage to download the the DLC from the atari, and install it on the game, It will not be shown in Test Drive Media TV. Dont buy the DLC from atari els you will just end up losing your money. All we can do is to wait for steam to release the steam game compatible DLC.

yes im really getting too confused here. some of the people says that if i buy the DLC from atari store, it wont work on the game that i have purchased from steam. While others are saying as long as you have purchased the game, you can buy the DLC from anywhere and it will work with steam version and with non-steam version too. I wanted to have the casino DLC for myself. Anyone has any idea if steam is planning to release this DLC or not? If not then steam users like myself will be very upset. I hope steam releases a compatible DLC soon. Till then will have to wait i guess, i'm not wasting money in trying as if that doesn't work, i will just have my money wasted.
