System Shuts down as Modern Warfare 2 game crashes

I am playing Moderns Warfare 2 game that is been installed to the system and the problem is that I the game gets crash and the system shuts down accordingly. I do not know what could have been the issue. Please help me out so that I can make the changes to be processed as needed. Hope to get a desired solution well. I use Desktop and it works with Windows 7.
