Start menu/search/ files and folder/type in the box search "saves" and clik search
easy weg huh ?

YOU SHOULD FIND IT IN C:\Documents and Settings\Your name\Local Settings\Application Data\2K Games if u use Windows xp.

I am uploading Mafia 2 PC Save game in the below attachment that you can download. The save file is basically attached in rar format, so you will need to download a software called winrar or winzip by searching it on google and have to install it on your pc so that you can extract it. After extracting it just copy and paste the save file into your mafia 2 save game folder.

Edit: Due to limited attachment uploading issue on this forum, I have split the mafia 2 save game in 3 parts, so you will have to download all the parts and only after downloading all parts you can extract it properly or else you will get an error.

You just have to download all the 3 parts of the save game file of the Mafia 2 and save it to your desktop. After you have retrieved all this 3 files, download and install a winrar onto you computer. After this software is installed right click on any of the 3 parts of the save game file and use the option called extract here. A save file will then be extracted onto your desktop that you need to replace in your mafia save game location.

Can you first of all please tell us what is your full computer specifications? Do you get any error message when the game closes? Have you updated your graphics card drivers if you have any? Have you tried reinstalling the game on your pc? Have you checked the temperature of your pc/graphics card while playing Mafia 2, is it overheating?

When I go to continue the story I had to restart from the beginning ****. Where did my game saves go? So I download the game saves from here and installed into my C:\Users\VITO\AppData\Local\2K Games\Mafia II\Saves I then load the chapter and I when it goes to try and save during game play I get "WARNING Save/Load is disabled when mission is loaded from debug load chapter". Now what? How do I continue and save from where I left off.

I can load the chapter and it will start up and I can play but when I get to a save point it won't save and I get the following messages. I want to be able to SAVE and when I exit the game and start back up I can Continue the Story and it will load automatically from my last Save point. Here are some pics. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Check for the space that is needed is sufficient enough for the memory to get load. I had face the same issue and got it through by freeing up some space. This do happen when the space is not much available and you are not able to save the game. So check out for the thing and function out as advised. It will be better.
