Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic Save game and new patch download

Hello, One of my friend gave me his DVD of a game called Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic that I have installed successfully on my pc. It runs decently on my pc, but the problem is that if I want to play this game again from starting I am not able to play it, because all its save game are synchronized on Ubisoft servers I think. Also I have heard that there is a new update of the patch available for it? So, is there anyone who can share their Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic level to level save game for download and the patch as well.

Hi, I am also searching for a way to start this game from beginning but it seems that it is not possible because of the UBISOFT online DRM. In any case, I am putting my save game of Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic that you can download from the below attachment. After extracting it you just need to copy paste the new SH5 Folder in your old SH5 Folder and overwrite it.

Thanks mario2 for the save game, but could you also tell us the save file location of Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic on Windows 7? I have searched in the documents and settings folders but the save game location doesnt exist their. I think that I will reinstall the game again and again will check its existence.

There is a way to save game of Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic on your local pc. At the time of the lauching of the game, when you see the UBISOFT game launcher, at the top right corner, click on the wagon wheel. It will ask you to desynchronize the save game on Ubisoft Drm server which will then eventually save game on your local hard drive, just dont forget to turn off synchronization in the login screen first. Then go to the folders

In 64-bit OS:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher

In 32-bit OS:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher

and verify in settings.ini if this is set:
SaveOnline=false
Lastly, you need to delete the storage folder (this is another cache folder). This folder apparently contains faulty data, causing the launcher to download.

There is no new version of the patch released except for the patch 1.1 version available for download for Silent Hunter 5 game, that you can download directly from the Ubisoft site itself, from here.

Bugs and issues - Update to the leader boards data security
- Now torpedo Officer's abilities upgrades work properly
- Fixed the promotion points issue for crew in multiplayer
- Fixed a bug where the player will lose the flak gun & hydrophone upgrades if he upgrades the conning tower

Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic save game location could be either in C:\Documents and Settings >> My Documents or C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\storage. From there you just need to replace the Silent Hunter 5 (renamed as SH5) folder with the above attached save game. Hope that helps.

i m using 1.2 version


so i finally downloaded this savegame. and once i load the game and press j
i can not manage my crew. their moral etc all is shown to RED and can not modify it.

please help

I was also facing this issue until I realised it only counts the tonnage within the mission zone, which is shown when you click on the mission icon on the map. I'm getting very close to completing the first mission now. There's also a little bar in the mission description on the campaign map that tells you how far along you are to completing the goal. I'm not sure what happens when you complete one - I got a new mission option, but I'm not sure if that would have beean available at the time

but the 3rd i dont get that one. it says to destroy a plane carrier with 5 warships i ve been patroling for hours (rl time) and never can find it.

I think that there is a trainer on most of the websites, if you search it on google, its called +5 trainer or something. Adds like infinite deck gun ammo and also works for 1.0. Hope that it helps you out. I also thought that sinking an unarmed Troop Transport ship (with the square icon, not the diamond) was counted, so I think the 5 ships you need to kill just have to be military. As for finding a carrier, I have no clue what to do.

is it just the unlimited ammo? or can you also skip lvls with it?

i never found those. only those common trade ships or oil ships some had mini guns (weak ones) or either i found destroyers
but still didnt matter how many of those i sunked still nothing added to the white thing

PS: can you show me pic of those Troop Transport ship?

wow that was strange

so i patrolled and never found the plane carrier. than suddenly a new request came to sink regular british ships and 1 big battleship in norway. than mission was done.

now i moved on to 2nd campagin
