Dragon Age Awakening game not able to install

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7. The problem is with the installation as I am not able to get the application to install. I do not know what could have been the reason? Please do help me out so that I can make the necessary change and get it worked. When I try to install the game I get an error message that installation failed. Hope to get a desired help.

There is another way through which you can make the change. All you need to do is to make the installation of the application under compatible mode. Right click on the installer.exe file and then make the installation under compatible mode for Windows Xp.
