Alpha Protocol Hacking Issue

I have installed Alpha Protocol through Steam, i have tried a search and read through many posts about hacking. I dont have a problem with the system of hacking, I understand it and know what to do; my problem is no matter what control/Key I confirgure I can not get code one(left) to lock in .

I am 100% sure I have the right code, I have tried only locking in code one(left code) and confirgured every mouse bottom and over half my keyboard keys .

Has anyone else encounter this problem? if so did you manage to fix it?

Any advice would be grateful!

Even I was facing the same issue and then I followed a tutorial video made by a user on youtube and that solved my issue, watch this video over here:


How to hack:
1. Left and Right lock shows a set of codes you need to find within the moving codes.
2. The 2 sets of codes (left and right) will appear frozen through all the moving numbers and letters.
3. Pay attention closely to find the frozen set of codes.
4. When you find a set for the left lock, press Enter to lock it.
5. Same for the right lock, but press Left Click to lock it.
6. Successfully hacked!

Thanks for answering but clearly you didnt have the same issue as I am having, I can find the frozen numbers and get the correct code there, but it does not matter what key or mouse button I have configed the left code will not lock.

I have no trouble at all locking the right codes, there is no issue there.

It might be a game bug that you can report to the sega forums or maybe the developer site itself. I usually use the movement keys and space bar button alongwith the left mouse button to lock the code. I think you should reinstall the game again and start playing it at normal settings. By the way what is your system configuration, are you playing it on high settings?
