Framerate drops while playing Blur game

I have installed Blur game to my desktop. It is been installed with Windows 7. I have ATI 5870 graphic card installed to the system. The problem is that my game losses the framerate and not able to function properly. This happens for 5 seconds and then it works normally. What could have been the reason. Please let me know with a proper solution for the same.

Try to perform a clean boot service. All you need to do is to type msconfig in the search box option and hit enter.
