    Macbook Pro for Gaming

    Hello,
Being about to persuade me to buy a MacBook Pro I want to know the performance of these machines for gaming including World of Warcraft. Do you have some figures or you know a site with clear results.?? I looked on the WoW Mac technical forum and it is sometimes quite difficult to draw any conclusion. So thought that asking you guys would be useful.

Even on a macbook you almost every turn, especially this old m.. Wow thing. No problem, you can run WoW with all graphics settings at maximum. Having a fluid system in all circumstances (Photo editing, video editing, recording / audio processing, multi-Logic, ....) but this is not too much about the wire. Also 1GB of RAM per core is recommended for optimizing performance processors.

The world of Mac OS X is full of various software: Internet (browser, FTP client), e-mail and instant messaging (MSN, AIM, Skype), Office (word processing, spreadsheet) and Development (PHP programming, HTML), Multimedia (photos and video), Utility (anti-virus, anti-spam ...), and of course games. Some are paying (shareware), others are free (freeware), there has something for everyone and for every type of usage.

Photoshop and Final Cut (Express and / or pro, but not Motion) run perfectly on the MacBook. For games, you should think that there is a GMA 950 in the MacBook (emulation video) I get to run several games (provided they exist in Mac version) like "The Movies" "Age of Empire III". The Macbook is the shared video memory. This is not done, for demanding games, ie games today. And 13.3 is really small, but if you use a very mobile, it practices a small computer.

You could play in good conditions to your games. But I find it stupid to invest in a config as expensive mainly because of its operating system to install xp on it. As far as buying a shuttle someone told you earlier. And in fact, the Mac mini is no more progressive. But assuming you does not play on mac OSX but on windows is not so stupid over evolution will make it's going to become easier and faster. So to play it'll be easier to take a PC and install mac over and do evolve over time. Either an emulator or virtualization or a real plant (MAC OSX 10.5).

Yes you can play the "big games" because the graphics card is very good. After you install Windows on a Mac you will not have no worries. The design is perfect, really super comfortable keyboard, screen quality, performances that are up, a very pleasant and intuitive to use (though a little confusing when it was known that windows up here ). For games, as specified by many gamers, released its games on Windows and MacOS at the same time for other PC games should they install Windows on the Mac.
