call of duty 4 modern warfare freezes after installing windows 7

Call of duty 4 modern warfare game was running smoothly on my system with windows vista. But it started freezing when i installed the windows 7 on to the system. i am not aware why all this is happening please suggest me a way to get rid of this problem. Any help would be appreciated in this matter . Thanks in advance

Try to check your system requirements with the minimum system requirements in order to install the game that's why i have listed them below:

Thanks for the reply and also for giving me the system requirement. So friend after comparing my system with the system requirements what you suggested the system meets all the requirements and also has enough resources to play this game if possible try to give another idea to solve this problem.

It appears as a memory problem to me. Although your system meets all the system requirements specified but it might be a case that you have upgraded your system and hence your system is consuming a lot of RAM memory. which is the reason why your system freezes always while playing.

A virus or a bad program might be the culprit behind this problem. Since the freezing problem always appear due to lack of enough memory these viruses which may be present on your system might be consuming the large amount of the Random access memory (RAM) and hence the game freezes. Scan the system.

The game needs to be reinstalled again. Although most of the wincows vista drivers are compatible with the windows 7. But a lot of stuffs are required to installed again so i would suggest you to remove every traces of the game and then install a fresh copy of the game on to tyour system this might solve your problem.
