How to connect a PlayStation 2 to a Mac OS X

Hi,

I wondered, if it was possible to connect my PS2 to my iMac and play PS2 games using my Mac as a monitor. Can I connect the PS2 to the monitor output through an nVidia graphics card? Is it possible to connect a playstation 2 console to an iMac to use your screen?

The iMac does not have a way to accept any video from the PlayStation. The only way I think you may be able to do this is through some sort of USB device to capture video (or maybe a TV tuner card) which then connects to the PS2 and then see it in the iMac, but I don' t think that being a good idea if you do that.

PS2 can not have flash on the screen of your mac through your mac S-Video. Your only option is to buy a TV tuner. You would need one that is based on USB. With that you could get the video input from many sources.

Connect your ps2 to the internet through an airport extreme card, to connect a PlayStation 2 to a Mac OS X. Go to sharing in System Preferences, then click the Internet tab sharing. Configured to share the connection from Airport to Ethernet. This works very well with other teams to give them an Internet connection. However, I never could get it to work with my PS2. Finally just run an Ethernet cable to the router.
