Call of Duty 5 Crash

Today i have installed cod5 on my vista, every drivers and all are fully updated, other games works properly witout any harm but COD5 doesn't works. System crashes as i starts it. I search but there is no patch also available. I have 9800GT and 2Gb RAM, with Intel E2160. Does anyone having same issue with cod5?

First make sure you have updated all your drivers, Here is the system requirements of Call of Duty 5:

• CPU: AMD 64 3200+ / Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz +
• Memory: 512MB (XP) or 1GB (Vista)
• Graphics Card: Nvidia 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or higher (Shader 3.0 or better) with 256MB memory

Any sort of error message? What is the EXACT error message it gives you? Do following:

• Update video drivers
• Update sound drivers
• Clean install COD5 with nothing else running
• DirectX web update

IS it pirated game? it happens with pirated games where they require crack for the game. FIrst disable all firewalls and then try to run the game as administrator. Make sure your video card drivers are up to date… and also make sure your sound card drivers are up to date too.
