Crysis warhead

Need help guys , installed crysis warhead and 2 patches.. I am having crashes after 5 min.. My pc is intel i7 1356 .. X58 EVGA , 1800 Mhz 6 Gig DDR3 Ram. 2x Geoforce 260 GTX.

Try to reinstall Crysis without patches, see what you get, then install any one patch, then if it works install second patch, if it doesn't then you will know which patch is causing it... Do post back...

Crysis Warhead is a standalone game and does not need Crysis installed to play. According to Crytek, with patch 1.4 they have fixed several of the memory leaks which have plagued the game since its release. This patch includes some fixes for some issues with Vista, bug fixes, and more. The latest patch added several optimizations, on top of those released in earlier patches. he patch also allows DX9 and Windows XP users to run the game in all graphical settings.

get a better graphics card, like a 8-series or higher.
the minimum is a 6800gt , but it has been known to work on a 6200, but youl have trouble playing it on the lowest settings with the lowest resolution, and so you can't actually enjoy the game.
get a 6 or 7 series motherboard with a intel core 2 duo with 2gb DDR2 800mhz in dual channel with like a 8800gt.

you will be dissapointed that you won't be able to play the game, the way it was meant to be.

I can play it on med-high at 1024x768 with 24-36 frames

here are my specs.
Intel pentium dual core @ 2.9Ghz
2gb ddr2 800mhz
nforce 680i lt SLI
8600gts 256mb
320gb harddrive
500 watt Antec power supply

a 8600gt would be fine for medium settings, or get the 8600gts for a 25-30% performance boost.

I don't even know if you can play the game, so just buy a new graphics card.
