Problem to launch Dawn of War 2

I bought DoW 2 on a download platform this is the first game that i buy with download. The download was done without problem, installation too, but I have a big problem in launching the game.The game starts and displays a black screen within few seconds before I return to the desktop. If I try to restart ,I have sound but no picture ...then nothing

any help ?

When I click to launch DoW II i received this error message error code 83 and now i cant play game . I used registry cleaner to clean up registry and and tried re installation but nothing works. i clean up game cache files, all temp files have been deleted but no fix for the problem so how to solve Dawn of War 2 error code 83 problem ?

There are a lot of problem , not on DOWII but with steam, and when the game is downloaded it gets worse. I had a problem myself but I bought the game form store I had a crash report to the launch and had reconfigured like that simply by switching to offline mode.

In fact it is generally Steam bug that because when Steam bug, some errors are not repairable or somewhat difficult. I actually had a crash report after it marked Preparing to launch and nothing to do ... and finally I managed to start going in the steam folder (Steam \ Steammapps \ common \ dawn of war 2) and run dow2.exe in offline mode and it worked!
