    Windows Live Error 0x80151911 make cause because of the below things :

    1. Make sure all the proper ports are open
    2. If all else fails turn off ALL firewalls and anti-virus software,
    3. Uninstall if installed Hamachi
    4. Make sure you are not running any other programs that could be causing a conflict
    5. Connect directly your cable or DSL modem (not through a router)

    If you are not connected to router then you need to change the MTU on your network interfaces.

    * Used the network override registry key to force XLive to use a specific connection
    o HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Software\Microsoft\XLive
    o Create 'String Value', call it 'ConnectionOverride' and set its value to the NAME of whatever interface you want to use (i.e. 'Local Network Interface 1') ... drop the quotes of course.

    * set the MTU on that network interface to 1500
    o netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Local Area Connection" mtu=1500 store=persistent
    o you have to make sure yout Network Interface Card can handle a frame size that large (I'm 99% sure that's not something you need to worry about)

    If you do a clean boot as listed below, to put everything back, just repeat the steps and then click the 'Normal' radio button. If you use Windows XP, follow these steps.

    1. Click Start, then click Run and type : cmd, press enter.
    2. Type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK.
    3. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
    4. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following tick on boxes:
    * Process SYSTEM.INI File
    * Process WIN.INI File
    * Load Startup Items
    5. Click the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
    6. Click OK.
    7. When you are prompted, click Restart.
    8. After the computer starts, start the game or program and check whether the problem is resolved.
