Half life 2 engine crash

I am facing some issue with my computer whenever i am trying to play Half life 2 on my computer it works properly near about 20 minutes and then suddenly my computer would get restart. I try play again, again it's get crashed, i don't know what would be the issue because i am new to this game and don't know why i am facing this issue. Can anyone help me out with this.

If you are using Windows vista and HL2 crashes instantly unless run in windowed mode to over come from this issue you need to create a shortcut to HL2, then Right-Click on the shortcut and go to Properties. Now go to the Shortcut Tab and the command line type '-no -dxlevel 90 +mat_forcehardwaresync 0' press enter and reboot your computer once for changes to get effect.

I am not using Windows Vista i am facing this issue in Windows XP, i don't know what would be the issue i have also try to reinstall the Half life 2 on my machine but still facing same issue , but if i try to run the same game on another machine then it's working fine. Please give me some solution to fix this issue ?

I was also facing such kind of issue i try to reinstall my video driver and then i was not facing any issue and if you are trying to play game with onboard Graphics then they are very slow and the share i would suggest you buy 512mb card which will not share system memory.
