How to play ffviii in windowed mode?

Hey guys, i need help with this : How to play ffviii in windowed mode? I want to play this game in windowed mode so that i can do some surfing while the game is still running... Please help guys...

You can do it by using two computers. Connect two computers on a network, connect them with vnc software so that you can do a remote access to the other computer. Now start the game and use the other computer to connect to this one using vnc software. But then you will be wasting a lot of resources and also you won't be able to have the sound working...

I have never played Final Fantasy games. Is it Dos based? If so you can download any Dos emulator softwares like DosBox. DosBox is a freeware and you can download it from the net. See this link : DOSBox Guide For Newbies

Try to add a parameter to the game shortcut like "-window" after the exe, may be that would help. If that doesn't help you will need a third party software like dxwnd. It works with FF7, so i guess it should work with FF8 too, but personally i haven't tried it with FF8. So go ahead, try it and post back...
