No Voice in Dark Messiah

I am facing a very strange problem while playing Dark Messiah game on my computer. I can hear all the sound, but no speech or voices. I have also tried reinstalling the game several times but no change. I really don't know what to do. My sound card is fine, otherwise I wouldn't able to hear the game sound as well.

Any ideas/suggestions....

I would advice you to properly check all the volume settings of the game. Because in most of the games, there are different options for game sound, game music and and game voice under volume/sound settings. Make sure all these options are checked.....

Are you using a soundfx? Or a dialogue?

• If you are using a dialogue, then you need to make changes to the stringdatabase and database and include them in your archive file.
  
  
• If you are using a soundfx,
  
  • make sure volume is 100%
    
  • check the priority
    - 2 is high priority
    - 0 is low priority (ie it might be skipped depending on your game settings)
    
  • check the mix channel
    - 2 for music
    - 1 for speech
