    Gran Turismo for PSP Preview

Adapting a monument such as Gran Turismo on PSP is quite a challenge. Sony teams have agreed to identify and doing brilliantly, as we discover in a grip as short as impressive.

Before you can try Gran Turismo PSP on a brand new Go (both also released simultaneously on 1 October), the demonstrator was first given to remind us of the data published at the Sony E3 conference. If you missed this episode, here are two points to remember: 35 circuits and 800 cars. Yes, it seems excessive, but it is the correct number, there is not a zero too. This means that we will have to fight hard for hundreds of hours to get them all, and yet ... Fortunately, developers have had the good idea to include a system of exchange of vehicles between friends.

This little preamble is finished, we're engaged in a race. And here is the slap technique. Not only is Gran Turismo is pretty jaw dropping (for a PSP, that is), but it is a fluidity to any event. It may have the habit of eating slapping each episode of the series, it's a shock. The game does not forget what it is famous, namely driving. Each model offers steering feel very different, especially since the title is not confined to road racing, but also the rally in the license WRC. Many settings are available to customize the behavior of fine cars, and players can choose between an external view and a camera at ground level (no cockpit view, unfortunately). Doubts still on the plane or not implementation of the damage, but there are good chances of them being present.

During this test, we were able to participate in 3 races. The first on the circuit Tsubuka driving a Lotus Esprit V8'02, the second at Laguna Seca in command of a Nissan GT-R SpecV 09. Finally, the third has propelled the legendary Grand Valley Speedway with a no less famous'99 Dodge Viper GTS. As you can see, the variety is to go, and whatever the choice, the sensations are there. In short, combining the best driving, graphics and content blowing huge Gran Turismo PSP has all the ingredients to become the portable racing game to have absolutely any sports fan mechanical self-respecting. Well almost, since the multi to 4 will be playable only locally, not online. A small regret, but a drop in the ocean of qualities that the title has elsewhere.
