The Most Scariest Game ?

Nobody mentioned Blair Witch and Clive Barker's Undying Haven't played the full versions of either but they were one of the scariest demos Ive ever played.
As for Doom 3, I can only say that the sole reason I felt anything akin to fear while playing Doom 3 was beacuse of the HOOOOOGE hype that Doom 3 IS scary. I simply threw it away when I found myself 'trying to feel scared' when playing it

Ah, Yea..Undying is pretty scary. ( Oh God!!, that big lonely manor )
I would also like to add a game called
'The Thing' to the list. This was one game that involved me into it. I could feel the chillness right on my spine

Those are the full motion video (FMV) games na ? and very old too. Tried looking for them but could find them no where.

Ya ... i got Phantasmogoria from a friend long back (1995), and it was amazing back then. But then Phant-2 came out in 1996 and needed 7 CD's, so no i never got 2 play it fully(I had only 4/7 cds ).

Has any one tried the AvP (Alien Vs. Predator) series....

Especially, if you are plaing with a dolby surround set or a good quality dolby head phones in a appropriately lit room (Which is to say, no lights)...

It is damn scary. Especially in the dark, when all you see is a red motion detector blimping on your screen...

Total darkness, as you move thru sticking to the walls.... There is a movement, you stop in your tracks...

I agree. I too finished the game this week only. Great sound effects indeed. Now I am trying to finish Silent hill 4. Its good until now (I just finished prison stage) but I think SH3 was better.

well if Sh4 was scary, this will be double the scare, coming out in the next generation of consoles (Sony ps3, PC maybe) and is non other than Sh4's sequel, yes Sh5 is confirmed.

Personally system shock 2 is the scariest. It starts creeping on your nerves, and intimidates you all the time.
