The SD Card Adapter enables GameCube owners to connect SD cards to the console and save data from specific games to them. This high quality alternative to the official Nintendo SD Memory Card adapterused alongside the Gamecube Action Replay it can also be used to boot homebrew code. Here are some more tips you can do with GameCube SD Card Adaptor:-
    • Unofficial SD Adaper for Wii and Gamecube
    • Works with fullsize SD or Mini SD card
    • Can be used with Free 'SD Load' to run Gamecube homebrew applications on Wii
    • Can be used to backup media using Free custom homebrew applications
    • Full Support on most Gamecube / Wii emulators
    • Essential Item for any unofficial Gamecube & Wii Developer

SD Card holders may also download data from Nintendo that can be saved to the devices and then used in some GameCube titles. The data can then be transferred to a computer and traded with friends over Internet e-mail.

Players will be able to trade data without going to their friends' houses in the game by using the cards. The bad news is that the SD Cards cannot substitute for standard Memory Cards because games have to be specifically programmed to make use of them. Therefore, older software will not work with the storage devices, as much as gamers might prefer to transfer all of their data to the larger-sized media. You can Backup Wii & GameCube Games SD Card:-

Using the Gecko adapter you can use a SD card in conjuction with the adapter, it's fitted into the memory card port. When loaded, it asks you to insert a DVD, when done it will start ripping to your SD card.If your SD card is too small it dumps as much data as it can.You can transfer it to your PC, insert the SD card back again and repeat that untill you have all the files, you can combine them with a simple DOS command.

If the games you have ripped have a .wii or .wod extension they need to be unscrambled first.Rawdump 2.0 has a builtin feature to do that. When you want to burn your backup, just burn them like you normally would burn an ISO in Nero. Thats true unfortunately that the SD Cards cannot substitute for standard Memory Cards because games have to be specifically programmed to make use of them.
