Hi,

Searching for the official WotLK Installer, do anybody having the download link to it? I have tried some torrents but they were fake and my pc is now at the risk of viruses.

Do a help to find a download link.

That's how I did it. It downloads a small installer application which then downloads the actual 1.x GB file. It downloaded at about 3Mbps on average so it was pretty smooth. It did not seem to use the "bit torrent" type of thing as it usually does for patches.

You can download from the official website if you have an account registered . you just need to downlaod WOTLK , it will auto install the rest.

The path to extract your addons is different than XP however with Windows Vista.

The Path is C:>Users>Public>Games>World of Warcraft>Interface>AddOns

Patch 3.1.1a will fix the tooltip to display the appropriate text and it will also display an error message when a player tries to use it against other players. For those who have problems using the game's auto-updater.

So I'm using the installer as suggested at the beginning of this topic..but whenever I get to 98% it asks me to insert the CD ._."

There a way to avoid this & just install WotLK? >_<

Well, not getting the exact cause for this but still we can give it a try. First do this, Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files/Blizzard Entertainment. Now delete this folder and try installation again. At the point you get the CD/disk popup again, click on cancel and see if it continue.
