Seeing as it is April Fool's day, I'm taking a wait-and-see approach on this one. If it's true, I'd call it a winning gambit for Microsoft, who would continue to sacfrifice console profit for market share. An $129 Xbox 360 should easily win over most would-be PS2 buyers and provide food for thought for those considering the almost-twice-as-expensive Wii.

Well thanks for the information ,,, It is good news for the Xbox 360 fan in US because it is going to get cheaper in US not in India , current rate of Xbox 360 arcade is $180 as per Indian rupee it is :Rs 9700,,, and in india it cost some around 16,000 to 18,000 and i dont think this cost cutting will come in India soon .Originally Posted by killtheking
