God of War 3 GDC Footage Leaked (PS3)

It's impossible to stop footage of anything from being leaked these days. Even when a voice echoing over a loudspeaker saying "please, no filming" can be heard, unscrupulous nameless individuals took roughly one minute of new gameplay demo footage from Sony's God of War III from GDC and slapped it all over YouTube.

Out of respect, we will not post any embedded movies or direct links to the footage, but simply searching for "god of war gdc" is enough to net the desired results. The video is surely on borrowed time and will be yanked down very soon, but other YouTube posters are starting to propagate the footage around multiple instances, so it could linger there for at least a few hours.

Needless to say, the game looks amazing. Of course, the low-quality nature of the ganked footage leaves a lot to be desired, but there's no doubt that God of War III is going to be one visually impressive title.

For the time being, this sneaky slice of God of War III footage has made its way into the public domain thanks to a sneaky midnight creeper, and it looks quite exciting.

The most amusing part is the bit where the voiceover guy quite clearly says: "Please no filming." The game itself looks exactly how you'd expect more of the same, but with prettier graphics. That is by no means a bad thing, either.

Purportedly taken from a GDC presentation, the footage shows Kratos leaping onto a cyclops and giving it a right good pounding. You can see the video on the Youtube.

Chances are that this leaked video of God of War III, captured at GDC, won't be around for long, so if you fancy seeing Kratos riding a cyclops into battle against a swarm of skeletons again we'd suggest checking it out as soon as possible. Also, because it's God of War III footage.

There are no hands-on opportunities with the game at GDC this year, but we'd be surprised if Kratos doesn't put in a fairly large showing at E3.
