FEAR 2 without Internet

The question is in the subject.
I just installed FEAR 2 and I need to use Steam as in Half Life.
Can you play FEAR offline like Half Life?

That is the way to play without Steam!

Here the manipulations to be made:
1) Unzip the file.
2) Copy the contents of the reply "fear2 dlls ......" in the game dir overwriting the original files (answer "Yes to all").
3) Copy the file "FEAR211-unpackNOSTEAM.exe" in the reply of the game next to the original exe "FEAR2.exe.
4) Run the file "FEAR211-unpackNOSTEAM.exe" to start the game

As most people know that a number of legal series played online, I believe that my intervention in the category between piracy!

Hey Thanks for the heads up, In my country the internet is really unstable, took me atleast a few days just to download a game from steam.

i have a problem of installing steam... i bought the game, and i start installing steam, and when it installed, it starts downloading the update... thats okay, but when it reach 99% it stops, and i cant even close it...so i cant do nothing, i have to restart my computer... after restart, when i start steam again, its do the same...and again...and again... can anybody help me? please

To fix this issue I would first suggest you to go through the basic troubleshooting steps. For that you may first try re-installing the game FEAR-II. Also check you internet connectivity.
