problem with Crysis Warhead

Hi all

I just take Crysis Warhead I play and I have problems when installing voila it tells me is "Error reading file d D: \ DATA \ GAME \ 80845C2A \ C48BA571 \ TEXTURES.pak. Check that the file exists and that you can access it.

For info: I did not I play Crysis, because then when I Crysis Warhead I thought it was Crysis, I have it my cousin who told me that it was an extension of Crysis.

Can you help me understand, or should I buy the game Crysis in the first instance, to play by following a Crysis Warhead.

The good news first: No, you do not need Crysis to play Crysis Warhead .
The bad news then either your DVD has a problem, or your DVD player has a problem

• Try to install your games on another computer, or with another DVD player.
• If it does not work, so it must come from the DVD.
• If it works, then it is from your DVD player.

I had the same problem. The installation bailed on the textures.pak file. I tried the installation on a couple of computers.. same thing. I returned the discs for a new set, and it installed fine. It must have been a bad batch.

Download the latest update Crysis Patch 1.2.

You can go in to the crysis folder and right click the startup.exe go in compability tab and enable administrator mode.
