Additional content for Prince of Persia in 2009

In an interview with our colleagues and friends, however Gamersyde, Ben Mattes returned to the future of Prince of Persia, after its release on 2 December.

"If we do, it will be a new story, a new experience. Perhaps a prequel, perhaps a suite. We will do something that adds value for the player. Regarding the date: sometime in 2009, I am not on because everything is still under discussion. "

Without questioning the quality of the title of Ubi Montreal, which Mr. preview 'Virgil is always available, we would have preferred a clear and precise date for the continuation of the excellent Assassin's Creed, although the two have meet for 2009 all players. It expects to see more.

According to your onboard graphic properties, no, you cannot run Prince of Persia 2008 on your laptop, you will need to upgrade your graphic card. Sorry.

Your reply inspired me to join these forums because now I've seen only a ton of wrong suggestions on the internet given by people, I fail to understand which "Graphic Property" you're referring to because as far as I know, the Intel 965G A.K.A X3100 will "RUN" the game like a champ, infact, let me tell you something, it'll run ANY game made nowadays, the thing people need to understand is the fact that the "Compatibility" of any game is directly dependent upon the GPU's architecture, this game (POP4) requires "shader model version 3.0" where as the intel 965/X3100 boasts shader model version 4.0 & which is exactly why it will easily run this game; as far as the "256MB memory" is concerned, I know that the Integrated chipsets lack any V-RAM but, its high time people realize that its NOT memory that decides whether a game will run or not, the only thing memory does is offload RAM by utilising its own memory which is usually faster than the RAM itself, ergo, providing better performance, that by no means determines whether a game will run or not. Consumating, the Intel 965 can run this game -- "How good" it runs is another story, this game is more processor dependent and will run on the specs provided by the OP with playable framerates. Please do not be offended, I'm merely elucidating a point here.

YES, you can run the game just fine, simply put "shader" exploiting details on low and you'll be fine, here's a video that'll dispel your doubts about what I've said, trust me, I know my GPUs.

    Good Luck!

Re: Prince of Persia 4 Minimum System Requirements

The minimum system requirements is Windows XP, a 2.6 GHz processor, 1Gb RAM, 8 Gb of free hard disk space, 256 Mb of GPU with Shader Model 3.0 support, and Direct X. Here you have some resources less in your CPU. But that does not matters. You can put a emulator like OpenGL or any other to speed up your game. Second thing the game look for minimum 8GB of free space on your hard drive. You have enough hard drive space also. I am just doubting on the Graphic support. You does not have a additional GPU here. According to me the game must work under low resolution. Search for a good emulator or 3D engine. With its help your game performance will be much better.

Re: Prince of Persia 4 Minimum System Requirements

Minimum graphics card requirements is 256 MB , you can try in low settings with your 252 MB Mobile Intel Graphics media accelerator X3100, it shows 252 MB but its actually 256. One of my friend having same mobo and he plays prince of persia in low settings, for high settings you have to buy new gfx. If you can compromise with graphics then go for it or else buy new graphics card. Everything else is fine with your system except graphics card.
