How to install Applications to PSP?

To install Applications to PSP follow the following procedure:

1) Memory stick is require to store the files into your PSP.Basically PSP comes with a tiny 32MB card which can hold only small amount of data.So if you planinig to store more amount of data of video clips and games then you have to purchase a long Memory Stick Pro Duo card.In start you have format that new memory stick.

2)The Application will be compressed into a ZIP file archive. you have to uncompress the Application using uncompress utility like Winzip(windows) and Stuffit Expander (Mac). Once you uncompress this file, you should find two folders called "SmashGpsp" and "SmashGpsp%" as well as a read me file in the uncompress folder.

3)Connect the PSP to your computer using USB cable in USB mode.

4)Create a folder called [PSP] then inside that folder create one called [GAME] for games and inside that one create one called [UPDATE].Put "SmashGpsp" and "SmashGpsp%" as well as a read me file into [UPDATE] folder. Make sure your PSP is plugged into a power outlet and is fully charged.

5)Next, to install the software, go to the main menu in your PSP, select [GAME] >>> [MEMORY STICK] >>> then select [UPDATE]. Your software then should start installing.

6)Enjoy your Application

To install softwares do we need to create a different folder than GAMES??

Not necessorry my friend but if you want to keep softwares seprate than games than you can make different folder.

Hey. I want to ask and check you up with this. (Unfortunately, it's the only reason I made an account.) I tried your idea several times and several different ways and I even made a folder called SOFTWARE. This didn't go well with me at all.
