If Operation Flashpoint was a great success, the couple Codemasters / Bohemia Interactive will not survive the exit of the game there are already seven years and while the first seems a bit entangled in the development of a suite (Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising that we should finally discover during the Games Convention), the second is progressing well on its own project.
The Czech developer is working effectively in the wake of ArmA: Armed Assault, a title very much in the vein of Operation Flashpoint. It is for us about this sequel that 505 Games we sent a press release along with some new screenshots. It turns out that actually 505 Games will handle publishing and distribution of ArmA 2, and from the first quarter of next year.
So of course, fans will be disappointed to learn that their game fetish is still lagged a few weeks (it was a time for the end of this year), but if the promises developers are required, they will be rewarded for their patience ! Bohemia actually promises to focus on the game via team including a cooperative mode. It is also about improvements in artificial intelligence in order precisely to take account of this orientation.
