BioWare's upcoming title Dragon Age: Origins is being touted as the spiritual successor to the company's classic Baldur's Gate series, returning the developer to its PC RPG roots. In an effort to reach out to as wide an audience as possible, BioWare has revealed that the game will be coming to consoles as well as the PC
"Yes. Dragon Age: Origins will be coming to consoles in the near future, yes," Dan Tudge, director and executive producer for the game, told Eurogamer.
Tudge hinted that console versions of Origins will arrive in late 2009, after the PC release - which BioWare is confident will be early next year.
Not much is known about the game at this point, though it will be set in a much darker fantasy world then BioWare fans are used to. The game features a number of different classes and races, with unique origin stories for each. And like any good BioWare game, moral choices will play a large role in the storyline.
