Good one man. Thanks for that. It just confirmed my views of my crappy ISP provider. Signed up to a contract last year and trying to get out of it.
Looks like this script can be used on websites as a plugin thing. We do have a site in development about which compares broadband ISP prices, I am going to consider trying to get this function plugged on to it.

There's not much point us licensing the Ookla Speedtest; why would anyone want to test their bandwidth to our server? Speedtest.net has global locations.
We could easily develop something simple in php.

People might find it useful to check their current ISP connection speed and if it not good enough then they can choose to change.
