As an iPhone user, we often complain when someone uses Android and does not receive a smiley. Today I will teach you how to install and use Emoji app on Android to receive and send smileys on iPhone and Android.
In fact, contrary to what one might think, the problem has a very simple solution that does not need to crack our mobile phone (jailbreak or root if you want). You can just use an alternative application to read/write SMS which will replace your standard SMS app, and install "emoji codecs" which works really well.
Three known and free applications are there that advantageously replace your SMS app.
Handcent SMS for Android
The application can be downloadable from Google Play from here. Once downloaded and installed, go back to the store to download emoji plugin, from here, that integrates with it. Install it and now it's over, you can use emoji on your Android and iPhone to send and receive messages.
Note: In newer versions of the app, the plugin is downloaded automatically at the first use of emoji.
ChompSMS for Android
It is also a similar application that can be downloaded from here, and the plugin can be downloaded from Google Play as well from here.
Go SMS Pro
Finally, Go SMS Pro, that can be downloaded from here and its plugin, downloaded from here, will do the same as the previous two apps.
