In Windows 7, a QWERTY keyboard can be easily configured and vice versa. To do this please follow the below steps:
Step 1:
By default the English and French are the two input languages configured on your computer. To display the Language bar, click the right mouse button on the taskbar, point to Toolbars, then click Language bar.
Step 2:
Once the Language bar is visible, click the current input language, FR for French and EN for English, to switch from one language to another.
A second method is to use the keyboard shortcut, that is; Alt + Shift to switch from one keyboard to another.
If you want to change the primary input language and customize the shortcut that toggles between two types of keyboard, open the options of the Language bar and click Settings. A window with System text and languages opens up.
The General tab allows changing the default input language and the addition or removal of input languages. Finally, the Advanced Key Settings tab lets you change the key combination used to switch from one keyboard to another.
