How to convert YouTube videos to DVD

In this Thread I will show you how to download YouTube video, how to convert them into different formats and then how to Burn them on a DVD.

How to Download YouTube Videos:

There are many tools to download Youtube videos such as Internet Download Manager, firefox add-on "downloadhelper", and many more. But i prefer using a 3rd Party software called Clone2Go Free YouTube Downloader. It is the best as per my preference.

First you will have to download the latest version of Clone2Go and install it in your computer. Launch the application. Now open YouTube in any browser which you use. Open any video which you want to download and then copy the URL form the Address bar and paste it in the Clone2Go.

You can add as many videos you want to download. It will create a list of URL’s in that window. Now you will have to double click on the URL which you want to download. Clone2Go will start downloading videos, you can even see the status of every file in the application.

How to convert YouTube videos:

Here also you will need the 3rd party software: Clone2Go Video Converter Professional. Download and install the same. Once done, launch the video converted and import all the FLV files downloaded with Clone2Go downloader. Now you will have to select an output file format. You can select any of these file (AVI/MP4/3GP/WMV/MOV/iPod/Zune) as per your requirements. After doing that just click on Convert and it will start converting all the files.

Now if you need to burn a DVD of all this video with FLV file format you will have to get any DVD authoring software like Photo DVD Burner Professional.

So if you are using this software you will have to click on Organize and Add Video Clips. By doing this you will add the converted video to this software. But do remember that Photo DVD Burner Professional only support .avi format. So while converting with Clone2 Go coverter, make sure you are converting your FLV files to Avi format. And with that you will have to select "video codec" to "msmpeg4v2" before you start you converting.

Now go to Choose menu tab and select a DVD Menu template so that you can give background music and many more things like images, font style, size, color, to customize your menu template. Now you just have to go to Burn Disc tab and start burning all the videos to a DVD which you have selected.
