If you drive, you can use the HTC One X easy to achieve your goal is to entertain you and keep in touch with the people you care about. With HTC Car you have access to music, maps, navigation and telephone calls.
HTC Car will run directly when you install the HTC One X in your HTC car kit. In HTC Car main panel you can do the following things like: You can just swipe left or right to switch to other windows, such as music or contacts. You can click on the shortcut from the main panel to immediately perform an action. Just to give you a small tip if you are using HTC car you just have to click on the main home button to come back to the main panel where ever you may be. If you are using HTC Car it can change you HTC Phone to normal phone mode very easy. You can easily exit the HTC Car mode by just removing your HTC One X from your HTC Car kit. And if you do not want to do that way you can also manually remove it by just pressing the lesser than sign from the main panel.

How to play music in HTC Car

You will have to swipe to the left hand side until you can see the Music Panel and you need to do it form the main panel. Swipe the screen from bottom to top. You can search music by category or you can even search all the collection which you have. You just have to click on album, a song or a playlist if you would like to listen to it. If you would like to hear the same music the next time, you can also do these things: If you want to listen to the last song which you were playing you just have to click on the music shortcut which you can find on the music panel. You can also swipe back to the music panel and after you do that you will have to click on any of the music which you had played before. Tip: When connected to the HTC one X with a Bluetooth media device, you can change the sound profile. After that you just have to go to Now Playing screen and click on the volume icon and then to the desired profile.

How to listen to Internet radio in HTC Car

HTC Car offers easy access to Internet radio stations for your listening purpose. You will have to swipe to the right hand side until you can see the Music Panel and you need to do it form the main panel. Swipe the screen from bottom to top. You can then do the following: you can search for available channels by category. You can also click on the magnify glass icon to input channel for keywords such as artist name, or topic, or to look for them. You can click on any station to listen to it. If you want to hear the same station the next time, you can: You just have to click on the Internet Radio shortcut in the main window to turn the last station. You just have to swipe back to internet radio and click on one of the last station which you have listened to. .

How to getting directions in HTC Car

Important: in HTC Car Google maps is been used as default navigation application. In countries where Google maps do not support proper navigation, you can set up to use the HTC Car so that you can use the HTC Locations application. You just have to swipe to the right hand side till you can see the navigation window. For that you can do the following things: Look for a new location – for doing this you just by clicking on the globe icon with a magnify glass on it. Enter a location to which you have previously searched - for this you just have to click on the clock icon. Get directions for an upcoming event in Calendar – just by click on the calendar icon. You just have to click on an item to view the start and end points on the map. After doing that you just have to click on the Start menu to get directions

How to handle incoming calls in HTC Car

You can handle all your incoming calls just by one simple motion. You just have to swipe your figure to right hand side if you would like to answer any call and if you do not want to answer any call and cut the phone you will have to swipe your figure to the left hand side.

How to make phone calls in HTC Car

Click on the main window on the telephone shortcut to open the dial pad. If you want to make call from the phone book, you just have to swipe across the screen until you see the window contacts. Then slide from bottom to top in order to open the phone book.

How to change HTC Car settings

Select your default Bluetooth accessories and then set the HTC Car so as to launch it automatically, and then on the main panel just tap the status icons.
