    Where sent information is saved

If you send data using Bluetooth, the location depends on the type of data and the receiving device. If you send a calendar event or contact, these elements are usually added directly to the corresponding application on the receiving device. If you send a different type of file to a Windows computer, the file is usually in the Bluetooth Exchange Folder under the folders containing personal documents.

    • In Windows XP, the path may be: C: \ Documents and Settings \ [your username] \ My Documents \ Bluetooth Exchange
    • In Windows Vista, the path may be: C: \ Users \ [your username] \ Documents
    • In Windows 7, the path may be: C: \ Users \ [your username] \ Documents \ Bluetooth Exchange Folder

If you send a file to another device, the location can depend on the file type. For example if you send an image file to another phone, the file will be stored in a folder named "images".

    Receiving information using Bluetooth

With the HTC one X, you can receive a variety of files over Bluetooth, counting photos, music, contacts, calendar appointments, and documents such as PDFs.
Important: Refer to the device you will find information about how to send data via Bluetooth.
For doing this you will have to open the notification panel and after opening to you will have to click on the gear icon. If the Bluetooth is off then you will have to click on Bluetooth On/Off to switch it on or off. Now just click on Bluetooth button and the Bluetooth window would be opened up. Click the Bluetooth HTC One X name at the top of the window to make the HTC One X for Bluetooth devices nearby visible. Send in the sending unit or more files to the HTC One X from. When prompted, accept the pairing request on the HTC one X and the receiving device. You may also be encouraged to insert the same password or confirm the automatically produce password on both devices. Will be followed by a request for authorization Bluetooth displayed. Now click on pair option. If the HTC one X receives a notification for a file transfer request, go to the notification area further down, click on the alert for the incoming file, and then just click on Accept. When a file is transferred, a notification is displayed. Push the alert box down and tap the consequent notification. What happens after you open a received file depends on the type of file: Media files and documents are typically opened directly in a compatible application. For example, if you open a song, it will automatically start playing in the music application. Select a vCalendar file for the calendar in which you would like to save any kind of event, and then click on Import. The vCalendar is added to your calendar appointments. If you receive a vCard contact files, you can import one, several or all contacts in the contact list.
