    Installing Android Notifier on Mobile:

On your Android phone, you must install the Remote Notify whose role will be to give your computer the notifications of calls and messages you receive.

    • On your Android phone, open the Google market and search for "Android Notifier"
    • Once the installation is fine, open the application. Note that the service will then run automatically when you start your phone.
    • Tap OK but Make sure your WiFi connection is active on the phone..
    • Tap on Send test notification
    • A test message is sent to your computer. It should appear as a notification.

    Customizing Notifications:

You can choose which events you want to be notified. Check here how to do the same:

    • Open the app on your phone.
    • Tap Events to notify.
    • Then check the boxes to the alerts you want sent to your computer: when someone calls (Phone ring), when you receive an SMS or MMS, the state of your battery, etc..
    • Go back and tap Notifications Methods.
    • If you use WiFi for notifications, uncheck Bluetooth to avoid conflicts. Then type over IP / wireless options.
    • Tap Target IP address and then click Custom IP or Host.
    • Tap Custom IP address
    • Tap Add custom IP Address and enter the IP address of the computer where you want to send notifications
    • By the way, check the Auto-enable wifi. If you have disabled the WiFi, the software will attempt to activate it to send its alerts and then disable.
    • On your computer, click the right mouse on the icon of Android Notifier in the system tray of the taskbar and click Preferences.
    • Check the box Start at login to automatically start the software when Windows starts.
    • You can also choose to display events.
    • Finally, click Save.

When you receive an SMS on your phone, it is displayed on your desktop. If someone tries to reach you, a notification is also displayed.
