Tips to Play PS3 Games on PC

It is possible to play PC games on the PS3. Although it may sound crazy to do, really is not as nice as it may sound at first. With a new application called StreamMyGame, Which is scheduled for linux, compatible with the PS3, we can play via streaming on the console while the game is running on your PC, this program sends the video signal and audio to the PS3 and with this we control it. However this is my method to play the game. Does anyone else have found something else?

The PS3 is the most secure console, and it took more than two years before a hack was found. This hack did not seem very useful, and there were fifty risks. Again, the conversion of the PS3 a dangerous business.

Linux usually does not run Windows software, we want it to run an emulator on a PC that already is slow let alone on ps3. The PS3's graphics card is disabled under Linux. Then we go no graphics acceleration, so think that the games would run well under emulation with no graphics acceleration...... Linux on the PS3 if configured properly (by choosing the right window manager and disabling all unnecessary daemons) run quietly but not enough to run games under the emulator. Keep in mind that the PS3 has 256 mb of ram, with the GUI and the windows emulator with almost exhausted all the RAM available and the system would start swapping to disk..... Let alone trying to run a game for more than emulation.

The program StreamMyGame can play games on a central PC installed on any PC within the same local network. Currently only a Windows-based server, but it does support both DirectX 9 as 10 and all the games. To play the games on another PC, you need a client, the StreamMyGame Player. Of this player is now a Linux version, so now you can play PC games on your PS3. Technically, the game does not play it on your PS3. The game is played on the PC, the software sends the mouse and keyboard input from the PS3 to the PC, and the video from the PC to the PS3. But if you do not feel like Crysis at your desk on your TFT schermp to play, but relaxed on the couch on your HDTV, then this is an ideal solution.

Let's see, the game runs really on the pc, using the CPU and graphics card in the pc.

What makes this program is to interact with the PC that runs the game and the ps3 (only on linux) so you drive the game from the PS3 game and images are sent from the pc to the ps3.

The quality of the games depends on the pc you have. But there have been people who've played Crysis without any problems. According to its authors (StreamMyGame) can play on a PC or device with Windows or Linux installed, any game that is running on another Windows PC (XP / Vista) with both networked PC and can play without any delay between the emissions covered and the reception of the image (which is done via streaming).

PCs are not consoles! Just because Alienware PC's has good range, it does not mean it's not different, or are do-it-yourself PC's are better. Some PCs have the hardware of the PS3. Because the PC is and will remain a developer platform No. 1 or claim that one would want someone programmed on consoles.

As far as I know that PS3 uses a central microprocessor designed by IBM and Toshiba, under the name Cell. It consists of 7 cores, and each is known as "Synergistic Processing Elements" (commonly abbreviated to SPE) and runs at a speed of 3.2GHz with 256 GFLOPS of power. The graphics processor was designed by Nvidia, under the name RSX (based on the GeForce 7800 GTX), which can go resolutions of 480i, 576i SD to HD 1080 also has 256 MB XDR memory and 256 MB of memory GDDR3 video memory for the RSX.

Looking at the above post it seems to that you can assemble PC game pieces and you get a lot cheaper than buying a new desktop PC as you say, average. In those PCs that sell in stores charge operating system licenses, among other things and just leaving expensive, plus they usually do not work for games powerful that most will come with integrated graphics chips rather to serve Basic graphics tasks or proper playback HD video but do not work so well for games.

The answer to your question is: This application is only useful to those who already have a home PC and a PS3 or two PCs, one of which unfit to play, etc.
