Windows XP has many folders. It is like a cabinet where we can store lots of information and organize every file or information. We can open a folder by double clicking it. When you double click on the folder, other window opens to show what does it was there in the folder.

When you will open the folder you will find that it contains several bars:
    • Title bar is the uppermost bar in the windows. It will showcase the name of the folder.
    • Menu bar is the second uppermost bar which contains all drop down menus with several options.
    • After the menu bar comes tool bar which you will showcase you the shortcuts for several common tasks.
    • Last is the Address Bar informs you that you are in which folder. It also gives permission to access the older friends. There is a drop down list to go to other folders when you click on the small triangle button.

When you click on the view button which is situated on menu bar you will get the list to which view you want. If you want folder to get sight of actual picture then you should to use the “Thumbnail” view so you can see what each picture looks like. There are many types of views such as:

    • Thumbnail View
    • Tile View
    • Icon View
    • List View
    • Details View.
