Contact are every important for all of us. So do not forget to export your contacts in Outlook / Outlook Express as CVS file. In Outlook 2010 click on the menu and then click on File > Open > Import > Export to File > Comma Separated Values and done. The CSV file then can be imported to Gmail also.
