How to play Windows 7 shared files on the BD-P3600 Blu-ray player

You can connect the Blu-ray disc player to a PC with Windows 7 and play MP3, JPEG, DivX, MKV and MP4 files from a shared folder. For accessing shared folders on your PC you can use either Auto mode or Manual mode.

If you encounter a problem connecting your Blu-ray to your PC using the Auto Mode, please try to use Manual Mode instead. If the connection problem persists, contact Microsoft for further assistance.

    Auto mode:

To use the Auto mode, please follow the steps below.
    • Press the MENU button on your remote control to access the player menu.

    • Press the RED (A) button. You will see a window where you can select a network search type.
    • Press the UP/DOWN button to select your PC > press the ENTER button. When first connected, you must enter your Windows user name and password to display the shared folder.

    • Enter your PC's user name and password in the window. The shared folder will be displayed.

    • Press the UP/DOWN button to select a desired folder.
