You want to customize the icons on the taskbar in Windows 7 but do not want to manually change the icon for each shortcut? Here is how to replace all the icons in a few clicks.

Simply download a package and place it in the folder called "packages".

7Conifier comes in the form of an archive that you'll have to unpack.
    • Just download 7CONIFIER from this link.

    • Choose the folder where to download the program in the Downloads folder for example and click Save.

    • Once the download completes, click Open.

    Implementing the icons package:

7Conifier has some packs of icons that you can easily apply your icons in the Start menu and Taskbar. Note that your current icons are saved so you can easily restore them. Here is how to do that:

    • In the Explorer window that opens, double click the folder 7CONIFIER.

    • Then double click the file 7CONIFIER.exe.

    • Click the Run button.

    • At first launch, the software offers you to save your current icons so you can easily restore them later. Click Yes.

    • Then select the icon pack to use, for example Token dark.

    • Click the Apply button.

    • By default, the icons on the taskbar and the main panel of the Start menu will be replaced. If you do not want to change the icons on the Start menu (Start Menu) or of the task bar (Taskbar), change the options. Click Apply.

    • Click OK.

    • The program icons on the taskbar were replaced by those of the package chosen.

    • Program icons in the Start menu as well.

    • As you can see, some icons are not replaced automatically. You'll have to change them manually.

    Changing the icons manually:

Some icons are not replaced automatically. You'll have to change them manually. With 7Conifier, this operation is simple. Just follow these few simple steps:

    • Return 7Conifier, select the package you've applied and click the Edit button package.
    • Open Tab Icons.
    • Click the down arrow next to the + icon and click the Add pinned.
    • Click OK.
    • The icons that have not been replaced are displayed at the end of the list.
    • Select a program for which you want to change the icon and click Change Icon.
    • Open the folder where you unzipped 7Conifier. Then open the Package folder, the folder with the name of the package chosen, for example Token dark and then open the folder Both. All the icons in the pack are listed. Note that you can totally choose icons of another package and the icons you have downloaded elsewhere.
    • Select the icon you would like for this program and click Open.
    • Repeat for the other icons. Then click Save.
    • Click Yes to confirm the changes.
    • Then click twice on the Apply button to apply your settings.
    • All the icons in the taskbar are now replaced.
    • As well as the Start menu.
