How to improve Latency in Call Of Duty Black Ops

I have installed the Call Of Duty Black Ops into the system of mine. I have checked for the config file and make some changes to get the proper gameplay. I have made the following changes to improve the latency and it is working for me.

So if you wanted to improve the performance then go through the following.

Note: You can get the config file on the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\players"
Now open config_mp.cfg on the editor and go with the below given config changes that will work to improve latency.

Also take the backup of Config file first so that if in future you wanted to make the changes back then you can.

1. To set Field of Vision :- seta cg_fov_default "80"
   
   
2. Avoid Jumping instruction :- seta cg_drawMantleHint "0"
   
   
3. Make Circle smaller in Kill Cam :- seta cg_youInKillCamSize "2"
   
   
4. To Set Damage icon :- seta cg_hudDamageIconHeight "150"
   
   
5. Avoid Breath Hint :- seta cg_drawBreathHint "0"
   
   
6. TO see Damage icon in Scope :- seta cg_hudDamageIconInScope "0"
   
   
7. To Turn Blood Off :- seta cg_blood "0"
   
   
8. Not sure about this :- seta cg_hudDamageIconTime "3000"
   
   
9. To remove circle :- seta cg_hudDamageIconOffset "10"
   
   
10. seta cg_hudDamageIconWidth "50"
    
    
11. To Removes Reflection :- seta r_specular "0"
    
    
12. Important one that improves latency :- seta cl_maxpackets "100"
    
    
13. TO increase Ping :- seta cl_maxPing "110"
    
    
14. To work with vSync :- seta com_maxfps "125"
    
    
15. No idea about it :- seta r_aaSamples "1"
    
    
16. To Turn Of Blur :- seta r_blur_allowed "0"
    
    
17. To Turn Of Distortion :- seta r_distortion "0"
    
    
18. To remove depth of Field effect :- seta r_dof_enable "0"
    
    
19. Turn Off Glow :- seta r_glow_allowed "0"
    
    
20. To get Flash close :- seta cg_hudGrenadeIconEnabledFlash "1"
    
    
21. To Turn off Motion blur :- seta r_motionblur_enable "0"
    
    
22. Turn Off body Falling :- seta ragdoll_enable "0"
    
    
23. To Enable Multicore :- seta r_multithreaded_device "1"
    
    
24. To Turn Bullets to Off :- seta cg_brass "0" -Sets
    
    
25. Less bodies ragdolling lower :- seta ragdoll_max_simulating "8"
    
    
26. To play smooth on Servers :- seta snaps "30"
