The below are the steps to install SharePoint Services 3.0 on Windows Home Server:
- Logon to your Windows Home Server Administrator desktop by going to a home PC, and going to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Remote Desktop Connection and then typing in the name o your server and clicking Connect.
- After logging on go to the below link to download .NET Framework 3.0:

Run the downloaded file to install the .NET Framework 3.0 which is a prerequisite for SharePoint Services 3.0.- After installing .NET Framework 3.0, go to the below link to download Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en- Browse to the location that you saved the SharePoint installer to and run the installer.
- Check the box to accept the license agreement, and click Continue.
- Click Basic (Install server stand-alone with default settings) on the next page.
- Windows Sharepoint Services will install, and after installation ensure that the checkbox that says "Run the Sharepoint Products and Technologies Wizard now." is checked, and click the Close button.
- In the Sharepoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard, click Next. You may receive a message, click Yes.
- The Configuration Wizard automatically begins and configures your server for SharePoint.
- After installation has completed, click Close.
Sharepoint is installed and will launch the default team site.
