Solve Windows XP Wireless Network Connect

    Whats the problem :
Does your laptop keep dropping or losing their wireless for no reason? Or maybe your laptop can see the wireless access point, but does not connect unless you restart the whole computer? These are some of the problems I had myself and so here is a quick and dirty guide to troubleshooting your wireless network without having to go out and buy a new router.

Firstly, the most common wireless problem is that your computer continues to fall and the wireless connection again, so suddenly for no apparent reason. The main culprits of this type of problem is usually the software, not hardware. For software, I do not mean your Windows operating system, but am referring to the device drivers for your wireless network adapter and your wireless router.

    How to solve :
You should visit the Internet materials for the manufacture and download the latest drivers. So if you have a Dell, go to Support.dell.com Find your model and download the driver for the wireless card. The Same applies to your router, go to Dlink, Netgear, Linksys or website and install the latest version of firmware for the router. You can read a previous article, I wrote about Updating drivers your wireless card if the connection is down. Who will usually solve any problem with the connection dropped! If you are having trouble logging in first, you can try resetting the current configuration of Windows, then try to connect. To do this go into the Control Panel Panel and click Network Connections.

You'll get a list of all connections on your computer Bluetooth, wireless, etc. Go ahead and click the right button on your wireless network connection and click Properties

Re: Solve Windows XP Wireless Network Connect

Click the Wireless Networks tab and click the network name in the list of preferred networks. Now, you want to click the Delete so that Windows deletes any of the current network settings and start fresh again. Many times when you refresh network list again, Windows will automatically connect. Go ahead and click OK, then click the wireless network in your system tray and try to connect again.

If this does not work, you can also try to Repair the wireless connection. The repair option is trying a few others, such as disabling and reactivating the wireless card, clearing the cache DNS old files, then connection to the wireless network. You can repair by going to Network Connections, as described above, and right-click the wireless connection and choose repair.

Thus, if the three methods to date, driver, reboot, and repair does not work, try unplugging your wireless router and plug back in a minute. It is better to turn off the cable modem too, then turn on the modem cable first, then turn on the router. Unless there is something physically wrong with the router, one of these methods work! You can also try restarting the computer, but it does not really help because everything has to be closed . All other methods, post a comment!
