To create team projects based on new process models, you must download the models on Team Foundation Server. The following procedure describes how to download a process template.
Aspects to consider when uploading a process template
1. No record of the process model should contain. Exe files as this would defeat the creation of projects, even if the process model is updated successfully downloaded.
2. The total size of a process model should not exceed 200 GB, otherwise the project creation fails.
3. The download process is running a partial verification to ensure that the XML file is valid. If an error occurs during the download process model, it probably results from a change in the XML file. In this case, check the XML file to determine the cause of the error. Note that the duplicate tags in the XML file can cause errors. If there is no error in the XML file, verify that all relevant files are included in the process model and are in the correct folders.
4. If you receive an error message stating that you do not have access to the folder where your process model, make sure you have typed the correct path name.
5. The names of prospects WarehouseSchema.xml file does not contain the following characters:
. ,, '`: / \ * |? "&% $! + = () [] () <>
Permissions required
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of Team Foundation Administrators group. You must also be a local administrator on the computer running Windows SharePoint Services or a member of the SharePoint Administrators group.
If the necessary security permissions are set explicitly, you must have permission Showing information at the server with the value of the Allow and manage the authorization process model on the team project set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
