How to Retrieve taskbar and desktop after Explorer crash

Sometimes that Explorer crashes and the taskbar icons and desktop Disappear from your screen. Now there is a protection function built into Windows XP that allows the recovery of Explorer in such a situation, but it does not always work perfectly.

For example, if a window Separated from Explorer is open, the option Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View tab -> Launch folder windows in a Separate Process is activated and the taskbar disappears Windows open by mistake, a second window of Explorer rather than restoring the current window and refresh the taskbar and desktop.
