Most manufacturers put on their website the latest firmware upgrade for their hardware. Having correctly identified the one that corresponds to your reader, you simply download and then copy it to your reader.
If an optical drive, you will burn the firmware on a CD to apply. In the case of a USB hard disk media, you can simply copy them directly onto the firmware.
A quick turn on your player you will finally have the new firmware and all its improvements and corrections that accompany it.
In our example, we will update a DVD player DivX HDMI Peekton 6006, but the handling is much the same for all readers.
Finding the firmware:
At first, you must find the website of your manufacturer.
