Transform the Task Manager in Windows 7 Gadgets

You can resize and transform the elements of Task Manager in Windows gadgets to put on the desktop. The task manager for Windows allows, among others, view charts handy showing CPU usage, memory but also the state of network connections. We'll see how to resize and display these elements in the form of gadgets.

Note that these gadgets are not considered as such by Windows because it is not possible to add gadgets to the Windows side. This is actually resized windows leaving only graphs of interest.

To open the Task Manager, simply simultaneously pressing the Ctrl, Alt and Delete and choose the last option "Open Task Manager". You can also directly use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Select the tab that interests you: "Performance" or "networking". Double-click on a clear zone within the window (the white area between the edge of the transparent window and the graph of CPU usage for example). The tabs and menu bar disappear leaving only the graphics of the current tab and a possible lift to move a chart to another.

Then just resize the window to the desired size (by placing the mouse on one corner of the window) and place it on the desk at your convenience.

Because it is possible to open only one window of the taskbar, you can display only one gadget at once on your desktop.

That was a nice tips for configuring task manager as you want. There are certain more tools that you can try out on your system. The first one is Process Hacker. It is a free windows program that gives you a similar type of output. Another one is Anvir Task Manager which is not free but that is basic support for your system. Another tool that you can also try is Extended Task Manager which is also free.
