    Google Chrome: lists of special commands and keyboard shortcuts

    If you're a Chrome user, be aware that there are a series of commands and shortcuts that can be useful depending on your needs. Such information is more for experienced users, especially for chrome lovers.

    Here is the list of keyboard shortcuts:

    • CRTL + K : Force research with a "?"
    • CRTL + H : Open history
    • CRTL + J : Open downloads
    • CRTL + B : Hides or displays the bookmarks bar
    • CRTL + E : Search in Omnibox
    • CRTL + F : Search Page
    • CRTL + L : Cursor in Omnibox
    • CRTL + 1 to 9 : Navigate between tabs
    • CRTL + SHIFT + T : Reopens the tab you just closed
    • CRTL + TAB : Oscillating between tabs
    • CRTL + SHIFT + TAB : Reverse circulation between tabs
    • CRTL + Click : Opens the link in a hidden tab
    • CRTL + SHIFT + Click : Opens the link in a tab apparent


    Here is a list of special commands:
    • about:cache -> Cache
    • about:memory -> Memory Statistics
    • about:stats -> Statistics engine
    • about:network -> List http requests
    • about:hangabout: internets -> Tribute to Senator Ted Stevens (do not run under Vista)
    • about:histograms -> History
    • about:dns -> Caching DNS
    • about:plugins -> List of installed plugins
    • about:version -> Gives the version number
    • about:crash -> Simulated crash
    • about:shorthang -> Done crash the browser (just the current tab)

    Drag and drop in Google Chrome

    The drag and drop possible and recent updates in google chrome:

    • a tab may be removed from the current browser window to have its own window and can bring it to a window the same way
    • recently downloaded a file (which appears at the bottom of Chromium) may be moved directly to a specific folder on the computer
    • a link to the bookmarks bar to add to favorites
    • a link to a tab to open in that tab (or between 2 tabs to open in a new tab)
