Actually I am suffering with the problem of duplicate email in my Microsoft Outlook. Whenever there is a time out on the internet connection during the download of the email from the server. The next thing the outlook it start duplicate email. The problem is big for me because I not receiving only 10 to 20 emails per day but the figure of email I am getting is much bigger. I know there is method to avoid this but I have no idea how to do it, so I need the tips for avoiding the duplicate emails in Microsoft outlook.

According to you must set the server timeout on a per email account basis. It is really simple to do and it is also the part of Microsoft outlook. One more thing this is not a complete solution but you must give a try for it. For doing this you have to follow the steps given below.
1. First step is to open the “Email Accounts” dialog from the outlook menu.
2. Next step is to select the “View or change existing e-mail account” from the “Email Account dialog”
3. After that just click on the next button
4. Select the account that you want to change the setting and then click on “Change button”
5. Now click on “More settings” button and choose the “Advanced” tab.
6. After that you can change the server time out settings with the help of slider.
